Victorian Volcanic Plain Biosphere Project

In order to build a unified program, to halt the loss of our critically endangered grasslands and other ecosystems in the Victorian Volcanic Plain (VVP), and to bring new sustainable social and economic opportunities to the communities therein, we aim to have the VVP declared a Biosphere under the United Nations UNESCO internationally recognized Man and the Biosphere Programme (MAB)

The MAB programme aims to establish a scientific basis for enhancing the relationship between people and their environments.
